School Politics and Society is a blog that examines the interrelationship among these three constants of modern life. What are the political forces at work shaping our educational policies, the nature of society? Is contemporary education in crisis? If so what is its depth? What can be done to counter the drive to corporatize public education? School Politics and Society will address these and other issues relevant to the task of rebuilding public education in a radically new way.
